Reclaiming Recovery: Getting Back to the Basics - The Healing Place Reclaiming Recovery: Getting Back to the Basics - The Healing Place

While addiction adversely affects the life of an addict, it also negatively impacts families, businesses, and communities. Crime rates and the increasing cost of healthcare is directly tied to addiction. Focus on proven, long-term solutions for recovery is vital to increasing productivity and meaning to those struggling with addiction. Ethically grounded research, advocacy, and implementation of effective policy plays an important role in the future of addiction treatment.

It is time that we gather the experts in the healthcare recovery community to address the issue and focus on solutions. This conference will bring together key members in the recovery treatment professions to support, strengthen, advocate for, and reclaim the long-term recovery model that is fully-informed, clear, and ethically grounded in research, treatment, and recovery support services.

Reclaiming Recovery: Getting Back to the Basics will be held October 29th and 30th at the Louisville Marriott East.
