The Healing Place

Men’s Campus Expansion

The problem of addiction has grown exponentially since The Healing Place was founded in 1989 and the demand for our services far exceeds our ability to meet them. The detox on our men’s campus is routinely turning away more than 200 men every month because there aren’t enough beds.

Phase I of the $29 million project was completed in December 2017 and clients moved into the first wing of the new facility. The work is far from over. Crews are now working on Phase II of the building, which will allow us to add nearly 200 beds to our program. Work is expected to be completed by the end of the year. At that time, our men’s facility will be able to accommodate 426 men from detox to completion.

Gifts and pledges to this ambitious fundraising initiative will make the difference for men seeking a new way of living, a recovery solution for their disease of addiction. This project is an opportunity for YOU to change lives by making a philanthropic investment in The Healing Place.

More than 700 men and women are enrolled in our nationally-recognized recovery program daily with more than 500 completing the program every year. The Healing Place is a valued community asset which helps to relieve the burden on Louisville’s ancillary services. Fewer addicts are jailed, imprisoned, or hospitalized because of The Healing Place. We bring hope and recovery to those who need it.

A gift to our Men’s Campus Capital Campaign will save lives, reunite families, and better our community. You will make a difference. Gifts can be made below or you may contact one of our gift officers to get involved in this lifesaving project.
